Job Summary
Performs a rapid appraisal of a patient's immediate stability and respond as necessary to insure the well-being of the patient as necessary.
Assists RN's and Physicians with physical exams, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures including but not limited to: electrocardiogram testing (EKG); wound cleansing and irrigation; initial, repeat and orthostatic vital sign measurements.
Notifies environmental services (EVS), maintenance, biomedical engineering, and others to ensure proper equipment and a safe environment is maintained.
