The Charge Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Key duties include administrative functions, charting and documentation, drug administration, personnel management, direct nursing care, staff development, safety and sanitation, equipment and supply management, and care plan assessment.
The role requires a current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and the ability to manage staff and resident care effectively.
