Washington State University is seeking a Veterinary Technician to provide technical support during examinations, surgeries, and teaching in their veterinary medicine program. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and experience with laboratory animals, alongside a passion for education and animal care

Job Summary

  • Provide veterinary technical support and assist during examination, diagnostic procedures, induction, anesthesia, surgery and recovery of live animals in the CVM professional degree program laboratory teaching unit.
  • Will teach DVM students and communicate with faculty and other staff regarding the delivery of laboratory curriculum and procurement of animals for the teaching program.
