Santander is seeking a Securitization Senior Legal Counsel – Vice President to provide legal support for its Corporate and Investment Banking Securitized Products Group. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financing and securitization transactions, particularly with asset-backed securities, and a strong understanding of U.S. securities laws

Job Summary

  • Provide legal coverage to Santander’s Corporate and Investment Banking (“CIB”) Securitized Products Group on their banking, lending and capital markets transactions involving a broad range of asset classes and products.
  • Monitor developments and advise on applicable (with focus on structured products) U.S. securities laws (such as the ‘33 Act and the ‘34 Act), U.S. banking law matters, and other applicable state and federal laws relating to lending, securities offerings and advisory services.
