Job Summary
Ensures that life and property is protected by enforcing all City statutes and ordinances and the laws and regulations of the state.
Duties and responsibilities include patrolling airport facilities to ensure safety; assisting fellow officers and with interdepartmental duties and City activities; responding to the needs of the general public by performing rescues, giving information and directions, mediating disputes and deterring criminal activity within the airport campus; compiling reports; and maintaining and updating records for proper documentation.
Uses independent judgment and discretion in the handling of emergency situations, determining and deciding upon procedures to be implemented, setting priorities, maintaining standards and resolving problems.
