  • Assists physicians in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, responsible for the operation and quality control of radiological equipment.
  • Performs patient preparation, procedure room setup, patient explanation, and acts as a scrub assistant during interventional procedures.
  • Ensures medical records are accurate and complete, assists with inventory and ordering of supplies, and acts as Radiation Safety Officer.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate’s Degree desirable
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure
  • Interventional Radiology certificate preferred
  • 4 – 6 years’ related experience desirable
  • 1 year experience preferred for Candidates with ARRT
  • Working knowledge of interventional equipment
  • Experience with interventional procedures
  • Knowledge and experience of sterile techniques
  • Knowledge of universal precautions
  • Successfully complete BLS certification
  • Experience with monitoring and maintaining inventory
  • Proficient in the use of computers and related software
