Job Summary
Assists physicians in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, responsible for the operation and quality control of radiological equipment.
Performs patient preparation, procedure room setup, patient explanation, and acts as a scrub assistant during interventional procedures.
Ensures medical records are accurate and complete, assists with inventory and ordering of supplies, and acts as Radiation Safety Officer.

Key Requirements
High School Diploma required
Associate’s Degree desirable
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure
Interventional Radiology certificate preferred
4 – 6 years’ related experience desirable
1 year experience preferred for Candidates with ARRT
Working knowledge of interventional equipment
Experience with interventional procedures
Knowledge and experience of sterile techniques
Knowledge of universal precautions
Successfully complete BLS certification
Experience with monitoring and maintaining inventory
Proficient in the use of computers and related software
