Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum 10th-grade education, be a licensed CNA, and be prepared to assist with various care tasks while ensuring a warm and supportive environment for residents

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
  • Assist residents with daily functions (dental and mouth care, bath functions, combing of hair, dressing and undressing as necessary).
  • Observe and report the presence of pressure areas and skin breakdowns to prevent decubitus ulcers (bedsores).
