Job Summary
The primary responsibility is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty while ensuring the highest degree of quality care.
You will be required to assist the Director of Nursing in developing policies, participating in committee meetings, and managing staff assignments for licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants.
This role involves direct patient care duties including starting IVs, obtaining specimens, monitoring medication schedules, and coordinating discharge plans with physicians and families.
