Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Health/Fitness field
  • ACSM certification or eligibility
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider
  • Experience with acute patient populations
  • Ability to transfer patients and push wheelchairs

Nice-to-have

  • Master's degree in Exercise Physiology
  • ACSM-CEP or ACSM EP-C certification preferred
  • 2 years of appropriate experience
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with complex cardiopulmonary needs

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • ACSM certification or eligibility to test
  • BLS HCP certification from AHA required
  • 2 years of acute setting experience preferred
