Job Summary

  • Provides surgical pathology, clinical pathology, or autopsy diagnostic services including frozen section diagnosis, gross examination, microscopic examination, report generation and case coding.
  • Performs autopsies, completes death certificates, coordinates work with funeral homes, records preliminary findings and generates a comprehensive autopsy report.
  • Contributes to medical and allied health student teaching during rotations, and completes small projects and investigations, some of which may result in publications or national conference presentations.
