The Infection Control Nurse plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, coordinates, and directs the facility’s Infection Control Program in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Infection control program management
Compliance with CDC and OSHA guidelines
Infection control practice monitoring
Staff education and training on infection control
Infection control data analysis and reporting

Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
Participation in infection control committees
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Key Requirements
Current active LVN license in California
Minimum 2 years nursing experience
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of infection control practices and epidemiology
