Job Summary

• Recommend proper methodology and process for measuring parts and/or analysis using various precision instruments, ensuring good accuracy and repeatability.
• Manage the calibration of machines and tools, including planning and coordinating preventive maintenance with external service providers.
• Evaluate and implement solutions to problems related to metrology, measurement, and analytical disciplines, working from engineering drawings and 3D models.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Materials Engineering
• 4-6 years of manufacturing or measurement intensive experience
• Intermediate knowledge of reading engineering drawings
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
• Intermediate knowledge of 3D CAD modelling and GD&T
• Familiar with plastic / metal part design and manufacturing
• Intermediate knowledge of jigs and fixtures for measurements
• Intermediate organizational and planning skills
• 2-3 years of Metrology/Analytical laboratory experience
• 8D Methodology exposure
