Job Summary

  • This role will drive the vision for automation application and practices as well as advanced test development applications while providing regional leadership and planning for the introduction of automation for new product development and existing manufacturing.
  • Senior Automation AME Leader is responsible for working with our MR Magnet business to identify, define, develop, and deliver automation applications utilizing key suppliers and integrators in deploying solutions for existing product lines, NPI’s (New Product Introductions) and product transfers.
  • Responsible for design and construction of test/process automation, instrumentation systems and development of test/process automation/AI-data science software.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Automation, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical degree
  • 10+ years experience in automation technologies
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale modernization and automation projects
  • Strong understanding of OT/IT integration, cybersecurity, and data analytics
  • Project management skills with internal/external integrators
  • Demonstrated electro-mechanical design skills
  • Experience developing technical documents
  • Demonstrated experience with tester/automation development
  • Demonstrated depth of LabVIEW or C++ or Python programming skill
  • Experience with controls automation design and safety standards
  • Willing to travel domestic and internationally up to 25%
