Job Summary
The role of the Research Medical Director (RMD) for the Oncology Center of Excellence (COE) is to assist Ochsner Health in delivering on the Research strategic imperatives of growth, innovation, and dissemination of research findings.
Responsibilities include providing oversight of research conducted within the Oncology COE, managing collaborative research activities, and ensuring strategic research initiatives are communicated to personnel.
The position requires a medical degree, board certification in an oncology specialty, and significant progressive experience in oncology research leadership at a National Cancer Institute Designated Cancer Center.
