Job Summary

  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day to day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long term care facility.
  • Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with established policies, procedures, and safety regulations to provide quality care to residents.
  • Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating nursing service policies, quality assurance programs, and staff development training to meet resident needs.

Key Requirements

  • Nursing Degree from accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years experience in long term care
  • Current active RN license in state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing
  • Knowledge of PCC preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
