  • Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient, referring and questioning orders to the Radiologist before performing the exam.
  • Prepares and administers IV contrast according to departmental protocols, evaluating technical quality of images and consulting with a Radiologist if needed.
  • Operates radiology computer system to include entering orders and charging procedures/supplies, and documents contrast administration in the MAR.
