Job Summary

  • The consultant will provide support for the technical, operational, and logistical coordination of a therapeutic efficacy study (TES) of first and second-line antimalarial drugs for the National Malaria Control Program (PNLP) in Burundi.
  • The consultant will be responsible for the technical and operational coordination of the study, including supervision of implementation and adherence to the protocol; providing clinical and methodological expertise; supporting quality assurance and laboratory supervision; and supporting data analysis and dissemination of results.
  • The project aims to strengthen the implementation of quality malaria control services, with a focus on equity and hard-to-reach populations, and to strengthen health systems from the national to the community level.
