Job Summary
Security Officers shall be responsible for activities necessary to ensure the stability and safety of patients, staff members and visitors, in accordance with regulations and policies of the Security Department.
Assists in the management of aggressive/combative patients, monitors high-risk patients awaiting disposition in the ED with proper documentation, and provides security for CHMG practices and satellite offices.
The employee is regularly required to bend, climb, kneel, speak, squat, and walk, and is frequently exposed to airborne pathogens, bloodborne pathogens, and bodily fluids.
