Job Summary

  • This rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as our Clinical Nurse Consultant to undertake the role of Procedural Admissions Co-ordinator.
  • The Procedural Admissions Co-ordinator will ensure patients are optimised pre-operatively, appropriately screened for eligibility, and seamlessly transitioned through theatre, recovery, inpatient (where required), and home-based care pathways.
  • St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs.

Key Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience
  • Experience in Perioperative nursing
  • Experience in Orthopaedics
  • Experience in Surgical short stay models
  • Experience in Hospital in the Home (HITH)
  • Experience in Rehabilitation in the Home (RITH)
  • Experience working collaboratively with surgeons and anaesthetists
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing
