Job Summary

  • Define the roles and responsibilities of the Director of Nursing (DON), overseeing and supervising the care of all residents and providing direct resident/patient care.
  • Responsible for the overall management of the entire nursing department, including staffing levels, policy development, resident safety, and departmental budgeting.
  • Key duties include staff recruitment, training, in-service development, coordination of pharmacy services, liaison with physicians and families, and participation in quality assurance and state surveys.

  • Proficient in Point Click Care (PCC)
