Job Summary

• The Safety Manager is responsible for supporting the safety and health processes within the local organization and will lead the safety and health efforts within the plant.
• This position has the responsibility of implementation and evaluation of critical safety processes, programs, and procedures to achieve goals, objectives, and continuous improvement related to compliance as well as injury reduction.
• Work with the management team and employees to instill a genuine culture of safety awareness and responsibility across the organization.

Key Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of occupational safety and health experience
• Knowledge of federal, state (California) and local regulations
• Knowledge of Behavioral Safety Auditing techniques
• Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis education or experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety Management or related field or 10+ years of field related experience
