Job Summary

  • We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager (Environments) to lead the design, reliability, and evolution of our software-driven engineering environments within a regulated financial services organisation.
  • You’ll lead teams responsible for environment management, CI/CD integration, and observability, while driving large-scale modernisation and technical debt reduction programmes across legacy and cloud-native estates.
  • We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern, discretionary annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme up to 11% employer contribution.

Key Requirements

  • Strong engineering leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE teams
  • Hands-on familiarity with on premise private cloud and public cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and tools such as Terraform and Puppet
  • Experience delivering platform modernisation and technical debt reduction programmes at scale
  • Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, release management, and deployment strategies in regulated environments
