Job Summary

  • The Assistant Director’s role is to support the 15,000+ students living in the residence halls by collaborating with stakeholders, providing opportunities to foster involvement, civic engagement and student success, to enhance the experience of residential students.
  • This position is responsible for the strategic management and ongoing enhancement of StarRez, the department’s housing and educational technology platform.
  • As a part of the Learning and Involvement team (LIT), this position oversees collaboration between HRE and academic units for 3-5 living-learning communities (LLCs), serving as a consultant for best practices in LLCs, ensuring adequate planning and management of the programs, and helping troubleshoot challenges that may arise in implementation.
