Job Summary
The Assistant Director’s role is to support the 15,000+ students living in the residence halls by collaborating with stakeholders, providing opportunities to foster involvement, civic engagement and student success, to enhance the experience of residential students.
This position is responsible for the strategic management and ongoing enhancement of StarRez, the department’s housing and educational technology platform.
As a part of the Learning and Involvement team (LIT), this position oversees collaboration between HRE and academic units for 3-5 living-learning communities (LLCs), serving as a consultant for best practices in LLCs, ensuring adequate planning and management of the programs, and helping troubleshoot challenges that may arise in implementation.
