Job Summary
The Second Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer and supervises routine and scheduled operation and maintenance work in the engine department.
The role requires being in charge of the engine room in the absence of the Chief Engineer and ensuring efficient operation of all machinery.
Candidates must be familiar with Company policies, Shipboard Operating Procedures Manuals, and methods of using all safety equipment.
