  • The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) is responsible for the patient undergoing an operative or other invasive procedure to ensure the procedure will be safe and quality patient care will be delivered.
  • The OR RN has the opportunity to explore and gain expertise in both roles of Circulator and Scrub.
  • Salem Hospital Perioperative Division has a dedicated Perioperative Nurse Educator to assist with learning the role of the OR RN.
