Job Summary

  • The Manager, Product Jurisdiction & Classification will act as the subject matter expert and leader for the Jurisdiction and Classification (JC) program within the Teledyne FLIR Defense group of companies.
  • This position will work with Engineers who have been trained as JC classifiers (aka “Focals”) as a second level review to confirm the classification of items (hardware, software and technology).
  • Provide strategic guidance/direction on designing and classifying items for successful introduction in intended markets.

Salary

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Technical background in engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Working experience in performing structured Orders of Review
  • Experience in U.S. export regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC)
  • Experience working with ERP, GTS, GTM software
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%
