This role serves as a bridge between engineering and finance teams to translate technical deployments into financial impact through cloud cost governance.
The successful candidate will build real-time dashboards for cost visibility and define tagging, budgeting, and allocation strategies across multiple cloud accounts.
You will partner with engineering to identify right-sizing opportunities and implement automated scaling policies to optimize EC2, RDS, and EKS spend.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
FinOps Certified Practitioner or willingness to get certified
8+ years experience with 5+ in FinOps/SRE
Kubernetes and end-to-end observability expertise
Python programming for FinOps automation
GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes
Nice-to-have
Experience with IBM Cloudability or Wiv.ai
Harness or Kubecost expertise
Multi-cloud environment exposure (AWS, OCI, GCP)
On-premises and hybrid architecture knowledge
Mentoring junior engineers in SRE culture
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/Computer Science
8+ years total experience with majority in FinOps/SRE
FinOps Certified Practitioner certification required or willingness to obtain
