Job Summary
The HVAC Systems Technician is responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, control, and related building systems.
This role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting facility mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, BAS, and associated controls.
The position reports to the Facilities and Equipment Manager and is located in Cortland, NY, with a shift of Monday - Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Key Requirements
Associate degree or certificate in air-conditioning, heating, and refrigeration technology (or related field) and five (5) years of full-time experience
High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an apprenticeship with journeyman certification, and seven (7) years of full-time experience
Valid EPA 608 Technician Certification
Boiler Certificate required within one year of appointment
At least 12 years of hands-on HVAC experience if no journeyman certification
