Job Summary

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for The Hartford’s Wholesale Professional Liability portfolio, with primary responsibility for Design Professional (A&E), Accountants Professional, and Miscellaneous Professional Liability products.
• Lead and develop a team of experienced underwriters and serve as a key representative of The Hartford within the wholesale broker and MGA marketplace.
• Partner closely with Distribution, Product, Actuarial, Claims, and other internal stakeholders to execute strategy and deliver results.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years underwriting experience
• 5+ years leadership experience
• Experience in Design Professional, Accountants Professional, or Miscellaneous Professional Liability
• Experience managing underwriting teams
• Understanding of wholesale broker and MGA models
