Job Summary
The Senior Civil Engineer position will support the modification, expansion, or development of electric substations for Duke Energy Florida.
This position will primarily focus on performing complex substation civil designs, mentoring junior engineers, reviewing consultant engineering firm designs, and continuing to improve our internal Civil Engineering procedures and job aids.
Employees at this level manage work in engineering areas of specialization, with minimal supervision, and are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or PE
Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience
5 years of engineering experience with state registration as a Professional Engineer
