Job Summary

• The Research Communications Senior Writer will collaborate closely with the Li Lab to translate scientific concepts, discoveries, and ongoing initiatives into clear, accurate, and compelling written materials.
• Responsibilities will include the development of manuscripts, grant applications, post-award scientific reports, industry-sponsored research agreements, patent-related documents, clinical trial protocols, IND applications, scientific presentations, research process documentation, and strategic communications such as marketing materials.
• The OSUCCC – James is the only cancer program in the United States that features a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center aligned with a nationally ranked academic medical center and a freestanding cancer hospital on the campus of one of the nation’s largest public universities.
