The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) for its Emergency Department/Clinical Decision Unit. The ideal candidate will have significant acute care experience and will be responsible for providing advanced clinical care to patients requiring observation after emergency visits

Key Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in nursing or Physician Assistant license
  • Minimum of two years APP experience in an acute care setting, -OR- recently licensed APP with 5 years' experience in an acute care setting as an RN
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas
  • APP/CPN License
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
