  • This rewarding opportunity will see you join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as our Clinical Nurse Consultant to undertake the role of Procedural Admissions Co-ordinator.
  • The Procedural Admissions Co-ordinator will ensure patients are optimised pre-operatively, appropriately screened for eligibility, and seamlessly transitioned through theatre, recovery, inpatient (where required), and home-based care pathways.
  • St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs.

Key Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience
  • Significant experience in Perioperative nursing
  • Significant experience in Orthopaedics
  • Significant experience in Surgical short stay models
  • Significant experience in Project Management
  • Significant experience in Hospital in the Home (HITH)
  • Significant experience in Rehabilitation in the Home (RITH)
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with surgeons and anaesthetists
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex patient pathways
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change
  • Sound clinical assessment and risk screening capability
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
