Job Summary

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter, to join our supportive small maintenance team working 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, at our Avondale, Dynex manufacturing operation.
  • This is a dynamic role that requires a hands-on and energetic person with a high level of organisation and the ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining safe work practices and following procedures.
  • Industry-leading paid parental leave – 26 weeks for primary carers, 4 weeks for secondary carers

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • General mechanical maintenance
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG, stick)
  • Process driven environment experience
  • Follow all required OH&S procedures
  • Work with Electrical support

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in industrial manufacturing
  • Trade qualified (level 4) Fitting and Turning
  • Experience using CMMS systems (MEX preferred)
  • Current driver’s licence, own transport
  • New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
