Key Requirements

  • Pharmacy technician license through the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy or eligible for AR licensure
  • Two (2) years of pharmacy technician work experience (Level II)
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (Level II)
  • Three (3) years of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or retail setting (Level III)
  • Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office and EMR experience) (Level III)
  • Four (4) years of pharmacy technician experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Level IV)
  • ASHP/ACPE-accredited technician training or certificate program (Level IV)
