Job Summary

  • The Network Architect II role will be responsible for providing strong technical leadership in the planning, design and implementation of network infrastructure and services nationally across Hut 8.
  • Develops detailed network designs in the areas of on-premises data (LAN, WAN, Data Center), and Network Security.
  • Monitors changes in technology and makes assessments on the Hut 8 network, providing network project scope, drawing, configuration, MOP and other related documents.

  • MPLS routers and Ethernet switches
  • Service provider IP/MPLS network standards
  • IP carrier grade infrastructure deployment

Nice-to-have

  • Network-oriented automation and tool familiarity
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Troubleshooting skills in lab and production networks

Key Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Computer / Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
  • CCNP is preferred
  • Network-oriented automation and tool familiarity (Python, NETCONF/YANG models)
  • Proven planning and IP engineering skills
