Job Summary

  • Responsible for providing professional nursing care to Hospice Services patients, identifying patient/family needs and providing supportive care in accordance with physician's orders and plan of care.
  • Assumes primary responsibility for a patient/family caseload, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing process, and collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Group.
  • Provides Hospice Services nursing care based on systematic assessment focusing on pain control and symptom management, and teaches, supervises, and counsels patients/families regarding physical care and problems related to the terminal condition.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Licensed RN in Georgia
  • Six months acute care RN experience
