  • Lead a team responsible for delivering and operating Capital Group’s most critical productivity platforms, including enterprise email, calendaring, messaging, and core collaboration services.
  • You will be accountable for ensuring these platforms are secure by default, highly reliable, compliant, and optimized for performance and cost, while continuously evolving them to support modern ways of working.
  • You will lead a team of engineers who design, build, and operate enterprise‑grade collaboration services, investing deeply in technical excellence, operational rigor, and the growth of your people.

Salary

Base: $153,842-$246,147 (Charlotte); $179,273-$286,837 (Southern California); Bonus/Equity: eligible for individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus; Benefits: retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of eligible earnings, generous time-away and health benefits from day one, flexible work options, 2-for-1 matching gifts for charitable contributions, annual grants for organizations

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Engineering technologies
  • 5+ years leading teams
  • Deep experience designing and operating enterprise email and collaboration platforms in highly regulated environments
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Deep technical understanding of SMTP, TLS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
  • Informed knowledge of generative AI concepts
  • Proven experience as an engineering manager
  • Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams
