Job Summary

• This candidate has to be confident in the surgery room, helping from start to finish, including surgical prep, surgical monitoring, scrubbing in if needed, and surgical recovery.
• The ideal candidate must also be fluent in rooming patients, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with in-clinic laboratory, have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understand the importance of client education, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, able to dispense and administer medications prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member.
