Job Summary

  • The Department of Curriculum and Instruction seeks qualified Part-Time Adjunct Professors to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in teacher preparation programs.
  • Adjunct faculty support high-quality instruction aligned with Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) requirements, Science of Reading, High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), Teacher Preparation Initiative, U.S. (TPI-US), Deans for Impact, and CAEP accreditation standards.
  • Adjunct professors may teach up to four (4) courses per academic term, based on departmental needs, enrollment, and qualifications.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Curriculum and Instruction
  • Master’s degree or higher in Education
  • Master’s degree or higher in Reading/Literacy
  • Master’s degree or higher in Special Education
  • Master’s degree or higher in a closely related field
  • Willingness to learn accreditation requirements
