Job Summary

  • As part of Blue Origin Operations, you will support the performance of day-to-day tactical purchasing functions for various construction and facilities projects as well as provide support for a small team of buyers.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring program requirements are prioritized and executed, preparing and issuing RFPs/RFQs, writing price reasonableness determinations, and leading formal negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years tactical procurement experience (Bachelor's)
  • Minimum 3 years tactical procurement experience (Master's)
  • Interprets and applies company policies and FAR
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to perform written price reasonableness determinations
  • Ability to develop negotiation plans
  • Working understanding of AS9100
  • Procurement of avionics, machined parts, raw materials, or major subcontracts
