  • Knowledge of AAMI Standards for reprocessing
  • Experience with surgical instruments decontamination sterilization
  • Expertise in competency assessments and instructional technology
  • Proficiency in clinical systems SPM and Microsoft applications

Nice-to-have

  • Lead technician or supervisory experience
  • Experience utilizing a Learning Management System LMS
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to float to additional Cleveland Clinic hospitals

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Education Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Five years recent sterile processing experience with demonstrated technical expertise
  • Maintain Sterile Processing certification (CRCST, CSPDT, CFER, or CER)
  • Dual certification of CRCST/CSPDT and CFER/CER required within twenty-four months
  • Preceptor training completion required
  • Six years progressively responsible experience if no Bachelor's degree
