Job Summary

  • The team is transforming the way private equity strategies create value for investors and their portfolio companies by blending analysis, vision, ideation, storytelling, deep product knowledge, business case development, and rapid application development.
  • In your role, you will serve as a single point of contact for a patch of PE Partners into Salesforce, responsible for building and managing these relationships, commercially negotiating, ensuring governance, and monitoring portfolio company success.
  • You will originate new opportunities, influence sales cycles through a value selling approach, proactively propose Value Creation opportunities, and curate the “Best of Salesforce” through Tech SWAT, account teams, and industry experts.

Base: $244,720 - $327,250 annually; Base: $269,150 - $360,010 per year (California and New York, and select cities); Bonus/Equity: company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity; Benefits: Not specified

Key Requirements

  • 7-10 years of internal Salesforce Distribution experience
  • Masters of Business Administration or equivalent Masters Degree
  • Top tier consulting firm background
  • Experience leading an enterprise digital transformation
  • Experience in business development in PE, VC or M&A industry
  • Proficient in developing C-level connections
  • Exceptional communication, strategic, analytical, influencing, and consulting skills
  • Track record of building and leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience influencing decisions in Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, Carve outs and/or the Private Equity market
  • Confident discussing IRR, ROI, TCO, business case development in the context of LBOs
  • Strong understanding of the sales ecosystem
  • Proficient in producing accurate forecasts and business plans
  • Track record of delivering measurable results
  • Strong tolerance for ambiguity
  • Independent, self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Willingness to travel on as-needed basis >30% of the time
  • Degree educated
