Job Summary

• Undertake the installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault rectification on various apparatus including Distribution Protection Systems, Telecoms Apparatus, Online Monitoring, SCADA/Telecontrol, and Network Controllable Points.
• Ensure all site works are undertaken safely through adherence to safety management systems and that work programmes are delivered to budget and agreed quality standards.

Key Requirements

• S/NVQ 4, HNC/HND Crafts qualification, apprenticeship, SCOTVEC equivalent or equivalent vocational qualification
• At least 3 years work experience in relevant technical position
• Knowledge of H.V. Distribution Protection Systems
• Hold appropriate PowerSystems Operational authorisations
• Expert knowledge of ScottishPower’s Safety Rules, PSSIs and PSMSPs and Quality Management System
