Job Summary

  • Under the direction of the Building Superintendent, the Assistant Building Superintendent supervises and carries out the day to day repairs in various building systems including HVAC, boilers, mechanical equipment, and safety systems.
  • Oversees permit compliance, application, and renewals for equipment annuals and local safety regulations, and develops operating procedures and best practices for engineering and maintenance divisions.
  • Assists with compliance for Energy Star, Sustainability Programs, Quality Assurance Programs, and Disaster Programs, and recommends personnel actions to the Building Superintendent.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years related experience in Building Trades and Operation
  • Minimum of five (5) years of full-time work-related experience in public assembly or hospitality industry
  • Three (3) to five (5) years related experience in a supervisory or management position
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./ B.S.) in Business, Recreational Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid California Driver's License required
  • Must be able to use good judgment and common sense
