Job Summary
The Recovery Support Program Specialist will oversee the development and on-going coordination of Recovery Support Services under the department statewide.
The position requires travel to Addiction Recovery Support Centers to conduct site visits and will sometimes require interaction with elected officials and top management staff.
Additional duties include analyzing the operational impact of legislative and executive initiatives, preparing and monitoring contract deliverables, and preparing progress reports.

Key Requirements
High school diploma/GED and 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) at accredited college or university and four (4) years of job-related experience
Two (2) years experience at the lower level Planner 2 (GSP051) or position equivalent
Demonstrated ability to complete tasks independently
Knowledge of state, federal and professional standards relevant to DBHDD programs
Demonstrated knowledge of addictive diseases programs and recovery support services
