Job Summary
The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services provides services that promote and improve agriculture, agribusiness, and forests; protect consumers and businesses; and conserve farmland and natural resources for the prosperity of all North Carolinians.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Feed Compliance Officer II in enforcing the North Carolina Commercial Feed Law of 1973 and its associated rules and regulations.
This position currently qualifies for a telework option, which is subject to change at management's discretion.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in animal science or related field
One year experience in animal production or feed industry
Knowledge of state and federal laws governing feed
Ability to obtain USDOT medical certificate if required
Compliance with pre-employment drug testing if applicable
