Job Summary
To work closely and support a student in Year 4 with special Educational Needs within a mainstream environment, ensuring that effective learning, social and emotional support is provided.
This role should be seen as enabling rather than restrictive, preparing and using equipment and resources required to meet the lesson plans and relevant learning activities.
Liaise with staff, parents, and external professionals and attend ‘team around child’ meetings; Using strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support the pupil in achieving learning goals.
