The Capacity Management Coordinator is responsible for patient flow within the hospital and to and from outside sources, driving patient throughput by facilitating bed placement for patients designated for admission, discharge, and transfer.
This position mitigates barriers to discharge by working with nursing staff, case management, and support departments, and sets capacity targets based on staffing, anticipated boarders, and projected bed needs.

Key Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
RN License active in the state of Missouri
BLS must be obtained within 90 days
Five years of clinical experience
One year of experience in Emergency Services, Case Management, Pre-Hospital, Flight Nursing, or a Transfer Center
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Respiratory Care Practitioner License active in the state of Missouri
Current Missouri licensure as E.M.T.- P
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
