The Galley Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and management of all aspects of food services, ensuring meals are prepared in accordance with specific military nutrition and health standards.
Oversight includes food service supervision over all food preparation and service activities, participation in establishing a Food Safety and Inspection Program, and ensuring cooking areas are cleaned according to military standards.
The role requires strong management skills, including planning, scheduling, quality control, and providing technical guidance and training to DFAC staff in an austere OCONUS environment.

Physical skills for demanding environments
Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials
